HOW TO REGISTER FOR PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA COURSES

Nature of Programmes:

The Professional Education Programmes of the Institute are conducted by three main methods: training courses and workshops with professional examinations, supervised papers and practical projects and correspondence tuition with project or professional examinations. All Post-Graduate Professional Diploma (PPGD) or Level IV Courses are run by Seminar/Workshop Presentations or Supervised Papers and Projects only. This means you can enrol for the Course at your own conveniences without location barrier. For certain Advance Diploma/Diploma programmes you don’t need class contact for supervised project and correspondence programme as study packs will be sent to you anywhere in the Country. Duration is between 3-6 months depending on the Course Level. The Course objectives and the curriculum for each specialist area represent all the levels or stages as a summary. You can obtain a Professional Certificate or Diploma in General Management And Administration or specialist areas such as Supervisory Management, strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Democratic Industrial Relations, Labour Law, Administrative Management, Executive Secretarial Administration, Sales & Marketing Management, Purchasing & Materials Management, Stores & Warehouse Management, Financial Management, Public Administration, Local Government Administration, Engineering/Facilities Management, Leadership Development & Management, Entrepreneurship Development & Management, Production Management, Operations Management etc.

Minimum Entry Requirements:

• Certificate: WASC/SSCE/GCE/O’LEVEL/NABTEB etc
• Diploma: CMAI/CIAMA Certificate or Equivalent Professional qualification.
• Advanced Diploma: OND/NCE/HND/BSc/CMAI/CIAMA Diploma or Equivalent.
• PPGD: This programme is for university/polytechnic graduates in Senior Management Positions (PhD/MBA/MSC/BSc/HND or CMAI/CIAMA/ Advanced Diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
